Why I like photography
I could have written the title as “Why I like to take photos” but changed my mind because I believe there is more to photography than just taking pictures.

The morning starts normal enough. Woke up around 3 am, then did the Isya prayer(oops, hehe) and sahur. Waited for Subuh, then after prayer did some PS2ing before my wife ask to keep her company coz she couldn’t sleep without my ……(go figure, :P).
It has been a REAAAALLLLY LOONNG time since I wrote anything. This maybe a start(AGAIN!) for me to write. Anyhoo, there is something that I have been longing to write for a long time. You see, here in the Middle East everybody has been trying to out do everyone else. The biggest this, the longest that, the top of this bla bla bla. Its not rare to see this kind of news headline here: “Bahrain Bowlers came on top”.
It was really a wonderful trip. Seen a looooot of ancient ruins, castle, mosques etc. It was fun for all of us. Even Adzka :). To cut it short here are some pix of the trip.
For all the three years I’ve been in Bahrain, my dearie wife has suprised me on my birthday THREE times, including this years.
Last night me with a couple of friends went to the Awali Photogprahy Club meeting. It was time the first for both me and Aris. We all got the the place (one of the member’s house somewhere in Adliya) just around 7.30 pm. There was about around 12 people who had photos already on the wall for judging. You see, the photography club meets once a month and every month, the members would follow a theme and have their photos shown at the meeting and the members would judge the photos. You can’t however judge your own.
Though I can spend my previous time AND money installing and testing Vista on my MacBook Pro, why bother? Click here to read the BEST Vista review.Period.
Its been six months since my last post. A LOOOOTTT of things has happened since. Let’s see :
You see, I have used PC’s since 1985. The first pc that I used was an Apple II compatible called Cubic 99(made by Creative). I remember going to computer classes(actually BASIC classes) where almost the whole school attended. We were one of the first primary schools in Terengganu to get pcs. That said, on most of the unofficial school computer classses, the PCs were always hogged by Standard 6 students(I was in Std. 4 then) so we only get to play with them during official hours. After that I moved to Pasir Puteh, Kelantan but I don’t remember any computer classes there. In my first Form, my dad bought a PC. It costs around RM5k (which was a looooot of money during the period). It was a Samsung PC with an 8088(16 bit, I know) switchable 4/9 mhz processor, with 640 kb RAM(hugeee at that time), CGA colour monitor, 2 x 360kb floppy drive and a Panasonic KX-P1124 Dot matrix printer. Being kids (13 years old still young what!!), we always look forward to playing games. With that I started reading and collecting Computimes(pullout from NST). Though I did not understand most of it, I kept parts of it; mostly games reviews (only to find out later my mom threw it away one day coz she thought it was rubbish).
